Corporate partnership · Tangible CSR · Optimised tax relief
Your company can fund a cause that lasts
Not a fleeting PR exercise. A humanitarian commitment rooted in twenty years of measured action in Battambang, with four proven CSR mechanisms, two tax-deductible frameworks, and a documented field report every year.
Why AVEC speaks to CSR directors
Corporate humanitarian philanthropy has changed a great deal in ten years. CSR directors are no longer simply looking to allocate a budget to a sympathetic cause. They are looking for a partner whose mission resonates with their identity, who can document its impact, who does not expose the company to reputational risk, and who offers a clean tax and legal framework.
AVEC ticks all four boxes. Twenty years of continuous action in Battambang, 95,9 % of funds going to the field, accounts audited every year, two legal structures recognised as a public-benefit association in Switzerland and as a general-interest association in France. And, above all, a promise rare in the sector: a precise, personalised field report that turns an abstract donation into tangible results your teams can talk about.

Four proven CSR mechanisms
Four ways to get involved, scaled to your size, your CSR budget and your company culture. They can be combined. AVEC supports you in choosing and formalising the partnership.
Mechanism 1
Corporate financial philanthropy
The classic mechanism, the simplest to set up. A one-off or recurring donation, year after year, from your company to AVEC Switzerland association or AVEC France association. You choose which programme to fund (shelter, training centre, university scholarships) or leave AVEC to decide according to need. Tax relief of 60 to 66 % in France, 20 % on average in Switzerland depending on the canton. A signed corporate philanthropy agreement, a donation certificate issued in January, and a dedicated impact report every year.
Mechanism 2
Skills-based corporate philanthropy
Your staff working for AVEC, paid by your company. One or more employees are released during working hours to contribute to a specific AVEC mission: redesigning a visual, an accounting audit, legal advice, translation, web development, training for the field team. The time contributed qualifies for the same tax treatment as corporate financial philanthropy in France. Your teams experience an engagement aligned with the company’s values, you strengthen internal retention, and AVEC benefits from expertise it could not otherwise afford.
Mechanism 3
Cause-related marketing
A percentage of your turnover donated to AVEC. You dedicate a product, a range, a promotional campaign or a period (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine’s Day) to donating a fixed amount per sale to AVEC. Jointly developed communications, complete transparency on the amounts donated, legal wording compliant in both countries. The customer becomes a stakeholder in the cause through their purchase, your brand embodies its CSR in a tangible way, and AVEC receives a new stream of funding. A specific agreement is drawn up in advance with your legal and marketing teams.
Mechanism 4
Payroll round-up
The simplest form of engagement, driven by your staff themselves. Each month, your volunteer employees donate the cents that round their net salary down to the nearest euro or franc. The company can top this up, for example by matching the employee’s contribution. A few francs a month per employee, several hundred employees, and the annual amounts become significant with no noticeable impact on payslips. Available through the main HR platforms (microDON, ARRONDI, Lyf), set up within a few weeks.
What AVEC commits to providing you
A corporate partnership is not an anonymous donation. It calls for regular dialogue, clear deliverables, and a quality of communication that matches the commitment made. Here is what you will receive from AVEC throughout our collaboration.
- A single, named point of contact, Patrik Roux or a member of the Swiss association’s board, directly reachable, who responds to your requests within 48 working hours. No switchboard, no chain of three people to get through.
- A formal corporate philanthropy agreement that secures the terms of our partnership, sets out the legal considerations involved (up to 25 % of the value of the donation may take the form of in-kind services, for France) and anticipates the terms of joint communication.
- An annual impact report dedicated to your company, which sets out precisely what your corporate philanthropy made possible that year: children supported, programmes funded, milestones reached. A document you can use directly in your CSR report and your internal communications.
- Personalised content from the field: exclusive photos and videos produced in Battambang, testimonials from children or student beneficiaries (in strict compliance with our safeguarding charter), an interview with Patrik Roux for your intranet or corporate newsletter.
- An opportunity for a field visit for your executives or an ambassador employee, organised around Patrik’s annual visits to Europe or through a coordinated trip to Battambang. An experience that leaves a lasting impression and gives real substance to your commitment.
- AVEC’s participation in one of your company events per year: internal conference, CSR day, management seminar, client evening. Participation by video call or in person depending on the opportunity, with material prepared specifically for your audience.
Three benchmarks to help gauge your commitment
These amounts are indicative. AVEC accepts any commitment from 1 000 CHF per year, and adapts the partnership format to your capacity and objectives.
Partner
3 000 CHF / year
A year’s worth of school supplies, uniforms and food distributions for nearly half of the 156 schoolchildren we support, not including our teams’ fieldwork. A mention in our annual report and newsletter.
Benefactor
10 000 CHF / year
A full cohort at the sewing and beauty training centre: 21 enrolled, 17 graduates in 2025. A dedicated impact report, and an AVEC presentation at your company.
Founder
30 000 CHF / year
A full year for ten children at the shelter: accommodation, meals, schooling, healthcare and support, for less than 8 dollars a day per child. Co-designing a programme named jointly with your company.
What AVEC will not do
A serious corporate partnership also means being clear about certain refusals. To preserve the integrity of AVEC’s mission and the trust of its individual donors, some practices are non-negotiable.
- AVEC does not feature the children in its care in a company’s commercial communications. No minor’s face on your packaging, posters or website, even with parental consent. The safeguarding charter applies equally to corporate partners, without exception.
- AVEC does not accept partnerships with sectors incompatible with child protection and human dignity: arms, tobacco, online gambling, controversial oil companies, food companies reported for child exploitation practices. This list is not exhaustive; each case is decided individually by the association’s board.
- AVEC does not provide marketing services in exchange for corporate philanthropy. The association is neither an agency nor a communications provider. Any consideration granted remains within the legal framework for corporate philanthropy (up to 25 % of the value of the donation in kind, for France).
- AVEC does not publicise a partnership that ends after one year. To preserve donor trust and consistency of message, AVEC only publicly showcases partnerships of at least three years, known as structuring partnerships.
Let’s take thirty minutes to talk
A first direct contact, with no obligation, to understand your CSR objectives and identify together the mechanism or mechanisms best suited to your company. AVEC can also meet with your senior management or CSR committee beforehand if an institutional presentation would be helpful.
